AH LADS, CAN the robots not leave us humans anything we can be better at?

They’re driving our cars, they’re flying our aeroplanes and now they are even hitting our holes-in-one.

Or, at least, one is.

LDRIC the golf robot — pronounced Eldrick like a certain Woods — aced the infamous 16th hole at the Waste Management Phoenix Open’s pro-am day.

Launch Directional Robot Intelligent Circuitry, which isn’t half as catchy to be fair, hit the hole-in-one on his fifth tee-shot at TPC Scottsdale’s most recognisable hole.

We’re not sure how it’s going to buy a round for its playing partners afterwards mind.
